A London Love Story | Anne + Drew

Anne and Drew first got in contact after being referred to me by the very lovely Jenny Owens. They were travelling to London from Colorado and wanted a photographer to capture them at some of the more famous London sights while they were visiting. I jumped at the chance to head on up to the “big smoke” for a portrait session. London is one of my favourite places so any excuse to get up there with my camera in hand always puts a smile on my face!

These two are absolutely adorable together.

Newly weds since last August, it’s clear to see how much these two love each other and they certainly made my job incredibly easy! We met up at St Paul’s Cathedral with the sun shining brightly and the bells chiming loudly! After a coffee and chat, to get to know each other a little better, we strolled down to Millennium Bridge for that iconic shot looking back up at St Paul’s and so began a fantastic stroll around central London together 🙂 We picked a route that took us along the river and up to Big Ben before heading on up through St. James’ Park and finishing up by Buckingham Palace to capture some of the more typical London sights – squeezing in a shot with a red London bus and the famous red telephone box along the way!

Anne is a very creative, crafty person. She runs her own fabulous little blog, Rocky Mountain Bliss, which you should totally check out! Having someone who understands creativity in front of my camera is fantastic for me, it means I get to play a little and they get where I’m coming from. At least, I hope they do! I was thrilled to be able to use my new prism for the first time on this shoot and Anne and Drew just went along with it 🙂

Guys, it really was so lovely to meet you! I hope you had a fantastic time in our crazy little city called London and that you love and cherish your images for many years to come xx
