A Rock ‘n’ Roll Beach Engagement Session | Kate + Steve

The last few months have been a total blur!

I am so far behind on blogging sessions and weddings that it actually feels a little bit ridiculous now! But as the nights draw in and the fireworks pop outside my office window, I know I need to crack on and get sharing at least some of these incredible sessions before we all start shouting ‘Happy New Year’ at each other!

So! I’ll kick off today with this absolute doozy of an engagement session. Probably one of my favourites this year… Who am I kidding? I’ve loved every single one! It was a little different from most engagement shoots I’ve done before though and you’ll see why in just a few minutes.

Kate + Steve decided to head on down to East Beach in Shoebury for their engagement session earlier this summer. It’s a beach I’ve been to a few times before but totally keep forgetting that it’s there as it’s tucked right out-of-the-way. It’s a really pretty little spot though and so much quieter than Southend Seafront! Well worth a stroll there if you ever get the chance 🙂

We started on the sand and enjoyed the cool breeze even though the sun was blazing away, before moving up on to the grass, stopping for a quick picnic which Kate had thrown together (yum!) and then finished off down at the old fort. These two completely rocked this session. They needed zero prompting, I just let them get on with canoodling each other while I took the shots!

Thank you so much for such and amazing session guys!

And keep your eye out on the blog for when I post up these guys spectacular Hallowe’en wedding!
