Old Leigh-on-Sea Engagement Session | Abby + Mark
There’s nothing like looking back at all your summer engagement shoots and portrait sessions for warming you up from the inside!
Especially when outside is cold and grey and down right miserable. It seems like the long summer days are so far behind us now when, really, it was only a few months ago.
In the middle of July I had the great fortune of capturing this gorgeous couple in the run up to their big day down along the Old Leigh-on-Sea seafront, a particularly favourite spot of mine and I was totally thrilled when Abby suggested it for her and Mark’s engagement shoot. We didn’t have the bright blue skies that day but it didn’t matter. These two exuded warmth and love – they didn’t need any sunshine to show that! Old Leigh is a proper little fisherman’s hideaway – tiny cottages, cobbled streets, lots of boats along the shore. We had a lovely time wandering down the front and getting these shots.
Abby and Mark are very much a couple who love the simple pleasures in life – they like to spend time chilling out on the sofa with their two cats, or strolling to the local pub and having a meal out. They also love travelling and Mark regularly books them holidays all around the world. He’s got a thing about planes! There are no planes in this shoot today, but plenty of boats 😉
I’m sure you’ll agree these two look so happy together! I can’t wait to show you their beautiful wedding day very soon too!
