CREATIVE WRITING SUPPORT FOR AUTHORS, NOVELISTS & WRITERS
From ‘I have an idea’ to
‘Holy sh*t, I wrote a book!’
WE BOTH KNOW
You’re not here because you might write a book
You’ve got a story that won’t leave you alone. Maybe it’s half-finished in a Scrivener file. Maybe it’s been nudging at your brain for years, waiting for space to breathe.
You want to write it—or finally finish it. You want to polish it to a shine. And if we’re being honest, you wouldn’t mind a little creative writing support from someone who’s been there and knows exactly what you’re going through.

THE TRUTH IS
Writing a book is hard. (Finishing it? Even harder.)
Not because you’re not talented.
👉🏻 But because life gets in the way.
👉🏻 Because writing is emotional labour.
👉🏻 Because some days the words feel like a gift and other days, like a fight to the death just to find one.
And don’t even get me started on all the questions once that first draft’s done:
Is it good enough? What needs fixing? Does it make sense? How do I edit this? Do I need a website? What about social media? A newsletter?
And on and on and on.
It’s a lot. Especially when you’re already juggling a life full of responsibilities, demands and big emotions.
Here’s where I come in.
I’ve been where you are now.
I know what it’s like to write through burnout, grief, self-doubt and all the other distractions life throws at us.
I can help you get unstuck, polish your draft and find the confidence to share your work with the world (in your voice and on your terms).
From the first line to “The End” without flinching at your messy middle, I’ve got you.
I’M SARAH, A LIFELONG STORYTELLER,
And I’ve got a particular fondness for
Neurodivergent creatives
who need flexible, thoughtful creative writing support that actually works for their brain
Authors navigating the “what now?”
of a finished first draft (or second… or fifth…)
Writers with messy Google Docs,
half-finished Scrivener files and ten plot twists they haven’t quite worked out yet
Word nerds
who want feedback without the ego, edits that make sense and someone in their corner who gets it
Big hearted storytellers
who love writing strong feminist fiction, magical realism, dystopian fiction or kick-ass modern stories
Here’s my writing chops 👇🏻
I’ve been writing since I could hold a pen—wanna see the first poem I ever wrote about memories?
I wrote my first short story around age 10. It had a huge twist my Dad didn’t see coming.
I made myself short-sighted from reading books under the covers at night. No time to sleep for this bookworm.
While everyone else dreamed of being a pop star or a model, I was obsessed with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s Oscar win for Good Will Hunting. One day, Hollywood. One day.
I was a prolific penpaller—writing 40 letters a month to people all over the world.
My Dad used to call me his human dictionary (and I used to read it for fun).
I signed up to do a Creative Writing degree just because I felt like it. Graduated with First Class Honours.
And I wrote the first draft of my first novel in an hour a day, over 15 months. And yes, I have ADHD.
Bring the words. I’ll help with the rest.
Right now, the path is flexible. I work with authors and aspiring writers in a few key ways:
WRITING MENTORSHIP
Your writing cheerleader at the ready
Whether you’re in the brainstorming stage, halfway through a messy first draft or just trying to start, mentorship gives you structure, accountability and a whole lot of encouragement.
We’ll work together to figure out what support actually works for you—whether that’s weekly check-ins, feedback on scenes-in-progress, or a well-timed pep talk when the self-doubt hits hard.
It’s like having a book buddy, coach and (gentle) ass-kicker all in one.
EDITING & PROOFREADING
Polished prose without losing your voice
You’ve poured your heart into your words—now you need a second pair of eyes (and a sharp red pen) to make them shine.
From big-picture developmental edits to line-level tweaks and proofing for grammar gremlins, I tailor my editing to your needs and your stage of writing.
And don’t worry: I won’t flatten your voice or turn your story into something it’s not. I’m here to elevate what’s already working and fix what’s not, with care, clarity and zero ego.
COPY FOR AUTHORS
You’ve written it, now let’s sell it.
Your book might be done, but the words aren’t.
From crafting the perfect blurb to writing a website that actually makes people click “buy,” I help authors turn readers’ curiosity into connection.
Whether you’re building your author platform, writing newsletters or trying not to sound like a sleazy salesman on Instagram—I’ll help you speak to your audience in a way that still feels like you.
For everything after “The End,” I’ve got your back.
Not sure what kind of creative writing support you need?
That’s what I’m here for. Let’s figure it out together.
“The process Sarah uses to understand her clients is as beneficial to them as it likely is to her. I lacked clarity in what my ultimate value statement was and her process of questioning and clarifying really brought that into focus. That was as important for me as it was for informing the fabulous words she wrote, allowing me to then share that message more broadly.”

How I show up for you (and your words)
However we work together, these are the things I’ll always bring to the table.
1: Kind feedback
You’ll get honest, constructive critique that makes your writing stronger without shredding your confidence or your voice.
2: Voice first
I won’t try to rewrite you. My job is to help your voice shine, not replace it with mine.
3: Tailored support
Whether you’re neurodivergent, juggling a day job or just creatively fried, I’ll work with your rhythms—not against them.
4: Real writer energy
I know what it’s like to wrestle with words, get stuck in plot holes and wonder if it’s all a bit shit. I’ve been there. I get it.
5: Zero pretense
No academic gatekeeping. No literary snobbery. Just real, grounded creative writing support that meets you where you are.
