“Light and Shadow”, Stockholm, 2015

Stockholm was my first trip abroad for photography, the first time I’d travelled alone for something purely creative. On my last day, wandering the old city, I came across this walkway where the low sun cut dramatic shapes across the floor. I stopped, struck by how the light turned something ordinary into something worth pausing for — and in that moment, I realised the same could be true of me, too.
