“Forest Meets The Sea”, Tofino, 2019

This was one of my first summers in Canada, standing on a beach near Tofino as the last of the sun threaded itself through the trees. I’d never seen coastline like this before — wild forest tumbling right down onto sand and sea, rugged cliffs softened by light. It’s the kind of scene that sums up British Columbia for me: untamed, dramatic, and endlessly beautiful. Even now, I don’t get tired of looking at it.
