Crossing Malta’s Grand Harbour at sunrise, the luzzu’s bow cut a path through familiar waters. The city stirred quietly on the horizon, golden stone catching the light, while the oars creaked in rhythm. For me, this isn’t just another travel photograph — it’s ancestry in motion. Half of my roots lie here, and every time I watch the Maltese shoreline rise ahead of me, it feels less like a journey and more like a homecoming.
