“The Kiss”, Berlin, 2015

The East Side Gallery is full of drama, but what really caught me here wasn’t just the mural — it was the way these lads in t-shirts and jeans strolled by like it was no big deal. Their presence shifts the whole scene: the kiss partly hidden, a shoulder turned, a glance over that makes you wonder what he’s actually looking at. I love that tension — the iconic and the ordinary colliding in one frame, messy, human, and far more interesting than a “perfect” shot with an empty street.
